Plan your study.
Follow your plan.
Actually understand.

Arc is your personal tutor. Tell it what you're studying — it builds a plan, writes notes, creates flashcards and quizzes, and keeps everything in one place.

The problem

No more tab-switching.
No more losing your flow.

You ask ChatGPT a question, then copy the answer into a doc.

Arc keeps everything in the session. Notes live right next to the chat.

You lose your train of thought switching between your notes app and the AI.

One dashboard. Everything updates in the same conversation.

You take a quiz and have no idea what you missed.

Arc grades free-response answers and explains where you went wrong.

What Arc gives you

Five study aids.
One conversation.

Each one updates as the conversation evolves. Ask for more depth, a different angle, or a harder quiz — Arc just makes a new one.

  • A plan

Timeline, milestones, and what to learn first.

Arc builds it from what you're studying, then revises it as the conversation evolves.

  • Notes

Condensed summaries that evolve with the conversation.

Ask for more depth or a different angle — Arc rewrites in place.

  • Flashcards

    Active recall without the setup.

Flip, swipe, repeat. Ask for harder cards and Arc generates them instantly.

  • Quizzes

    Multiple choice and free-response.

Type your answer naturally — Arc grades it with an explanation if you missed.

  • Key points

    The essentials to master.

Pulled from everything Arc has taught you, ready for exam day.

Quiz — Organic Chemistry

Question 3 of 8

Explain why an SN2 reaction inverts stereochemistry at the carbon centre.

The nucleophile attacks from the back, so the bonds invert like an umbrella flipping in the wind…

Correct. Good analogy. The Walden inversion occurs because the nucleophile must approach 180° to the leaving group — backside attack inverts all three substituents.

Quizzes that actually teach

Type your answer.
Arc grades it.

Quizzes aren't just multiple choice. You can naturally type answers, and Arc will grade them for you — with a full explanation if you went wrong.

Free-response grading
Write what you know. Arc reads it and tells you how close you got.
Explanations, not just verdicts
When you miss, Arc explains the gap — not just the answer.
Harder on demand
Ask for a harder quiz mid-session. Arc regenerates instantly.
Beyond the tools

A study environment,
not just a chat.

Arc adapts to how you actually focus. Struggle to stay on task? Ask for a timer that tracks your plan. Need to settle in? Arc can play lo-fi or nature sounds, right inside the session.

Adaptive timers
Built from the plan Arc already wrote for you.
Ambient sounds
Lo-fi, rain, forest — whatever gets you in the zone.
Session memory
Arc remembers everything in the session. Ask follow-ups freely.

How it works

One thread. Everything
updates in place.

  1. 01

    Tell Arc what you're studying

One sentence is enough. Arc builds a plan and fills in notes, flashcards, and a quiz — ready before you start.

  2. 02

    Study in the flow

Ask for depth, a different angle, or harder questions. Every aid updates in place, tied to the same thread.

  3. 03

    Prove you understand

Quiz yourself with MCQs or type free-response answers. Arc grades them and explains what you missed.

For developers

Open source.
Run it yourself.

Arc is AGPL-3.0 licensed. The stack is minimal: Next.js 16, React 19, Tailwind v4, Groq for generation, and Postgres for storage. Local mode uses an embedded database and skips auth entirely — no Supabase account needed to develop.
